COVID-19 has been an opportunity for all of us to dig in and focus on things that really matter. It has also allowed everyone an opportunity to continue to be faithful and generous with the gifts and resources that we have been given. It is amazing to see the faithfulness and generosity of our church, especially during times like this!
Grace, YOU HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE! Since the beginning of March, we have partnered with the North Texas Food Bank, Minnie’s Food Pantry, and Travis’ Pantry at Huffman Elementary School to provide hundreds of meals to kids and families in need.
On average a child eats roughly 17 pounds of food over the course of a week and we can accurately say that YOU HAVE DONATED OVER 6,500 POUNDS OF FOOD TO THESE FOOD PANTRYS! From the dozens of volunteers who showed up to make box lunches for children and families at the North Texas Food Bank, or the people who came out to personally deliver meals to thousands of families at Boman Middle School, or the hundreds of people who have dropped off food at the church, we want to say thank you! Let’s continue to make a difference in our community!
