HOW IT WORKS

It's that time of year again for our annual Back to School Backpack & Supply Drive! Your generous support directly equips students at our partner Plano schools for success, providing not just pencils and paper, but a boost of confidence, hope, and a tangible expression of love.

  • Shop Online with EPI: This year, we've simplified giving through our partnership with Education Products Inc. (EPI), where you can fully sponsor a backpack for less than $40 with direct delivery to us. EPI also gives you the option to purchase only the backpack or the supplies. Supplies purchased through EPI are shipped directly to us and must be purchased no later than 11:59 pm on July 31.

  • Shop On Your Own: Some folks prefer to download our shopping list and pick out the backpack and supplies on their own. We're okay with that! Download the list today. Shopped supplies must be delivered to Grace Church Plano by July 31.

Families from our partner schools have already registered to receive a backpack and supplies. They will enjoy a free lunch and pick up their supplies from our church on August 8.

WHAT WE NEED

School Supplies

From pencils and crayons to erasers and beyond, we've created a list of essential school supplies for all grade levels. Whether you donate the entire list or a few items, your contribution makes a significant impact. Our partnership with EPI has made purchasing these crucial supplies both easy and affordable.

Backpacks

Backpacks are essential for students, simplifying the transport of supplies, lunches, and snacks. Our goal is to collect 300 backpacks filled with supplies to help local students. Recognizing that donating a fully stocked backpack isn't feasible for everyone, we also welcome donations of empty backpacks, made easily accessible and affordable through our EPI partnership.

WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

Join us on August 8th to extend a warm welcome to families at our Back to School Backpack & Supply Party. We have numerous opportunities to serve and make this day extra special for these children and their families. Even 30 minutes of your time can make a difference – please sign up below! Spanish-speaking volunteers are especially needed to help us connect with the many families we serve who primarily speak Spanish.
